In New York, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across New York, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. This is my third visit here. The reason for the last two as well were inability to get into a dentist in my insurance network. Having said that...though this is a "student" seen care clinic, they are mentored by DDS. I have ALWAYS had exceptionally pleasant, informative and professional visits. Left with a thorough understanding of what procedure were needed. Follow-up care set up. All questions answered. Everyone is genuinely interested in my well-being.

Terrible place!! Donβt go!! I paid $85 to be seen by a dental student who had to run to her supervisor Dr 5 times to confirm things. The Dentistβs barely even glance your way. The one male Dentist came and punched me on the shoulder as a way to say hello. I have slight asthma -when I called the front desk the day before they never told βthe ruleβ that I must bring my inhaler. The website doesnβt mention anything about inhalers. After I already paid $85, & in dentist chair, they told me they could not treat me for a root canal because of that. They asked me to leave - the main dentist said βshe has to go bye-byeβ. If you go, you will be treated unkindly and rudely. I was told I would have to pay $3,000 for a root canal. They do not care about you!

Went early in the morning an hour before they opened. You can go in early and sign up. Was seen within an hour and half or so. Student was great. Dentist on staff helped guide. Broke a tooth. Got the care I needed day of. Yeah itβs packed but staff was friendly and helpful it was overall a positive xperience!

There is just a very dysfunctional way theyβve run the place, and thereβs truly no urgent care. I waited 4 hours to see a resident. They tell me what I know, I have a wisdom tooth issue, sent me for an xray and asked me to make an appointment with oral surgery, located on a different floor. They say try to get an appointment today, if not within a few days. Should be fine and surgery will be scheduled soon. I went in April 6, they offered me an appointment on May 27. I was in so much pain, I have lockjaw, struggling to eat and do anything. They sent me home with no pain killers, no antibiotics, my swelling was down my throat and felt like up to my ear. The cruelty of it all is the insanity of it. I was also worried because the pain was steadily getting worse. I managed to get a nurse practitioner who could prescribe painkillers and an antibiotic while I look elsewhere for an appointment. She was in disbelief they sent me home with nothing. The lack of communication across floors, the waiting room is nice but the staff can be rude (I also experienced 2 nice ones), you can never get through to their phone lines. It is a disaster. If you have a wisdom tooth that needs to be extra

They should do an excellent job the first time around. Don't have me coming back cause you willfully denied me appropriate and complete treatment from the get go. They use the dental equipment like a weapon so I would have pain before and after surgery just because I am a Heteroaexual patient. They denied me urgent treatment twice when treatment is free. Just say you serve LGBTQIA patients only. Shame on you. Lisa Ghandi was the student doctor. Also, they are unhygienic.
